Website maintenance in Shillong
Updates tested on staging, backups restore-tested, monitored. Delivered from this practice, one accountable senior, written scopes, published rate bands.
What website maintenance covers in Shillong
The maintenance loop that prevents emergencies: updates applied to staging and tested before production, backups off-server with restore drills actually run, uptime monitored with a response path, and a monthly report written by a human.
The broken-update emergency, the vanished-backup disaster, the expired certificate, every one of those pages on this site exists because maintenance was skipped or theater. The retainer is the discipline, priced.
Content edits, new pages and campaigns are priced separately, the plan covers the unglamorous work that keeps the site alive, not bundled confetti.

The Shillong reality
The market here, honestly.
The ecosystem
Shillong runs on government, education and music-culture tourism: the Meghalaya secretariat economy, NEHU and a dense college belt, and a visitor flow (Shillong, Cherrapunji circuits) that researches and books online. The city is small, English-comfortable and unusually cosmopolitan for its size.
What to watch
Tourism businesses here over-rely on aggregator listings, direct-booking maths is the untapped margin, and monsoon-season honesty (roads, closures) is what keeps reviews strong.
