Premium theme or custom design?

The short answer

A quality theme with real customization reads professional at a fraction of the cost; custom design earns its price when the brand or workflow genuinely does not fit. Cheap themes are how slow sites are born.

How to actually decide

• Code quality of the theme - most are bloated demos.
• How far from the demo will your content really be?
• Who customizes it, and at what hourly truth.

What we recommend

Ask for the theme’s demo PageSpeed before falling for its screenshots - that number is your floor. Both sides of this comparison are builds we deliver - which is exactly why the recommendation above has no sales angle. Itemise your stack in the services, or redesign.
